The game was already known to be coming for PS4, PC, iOS, and Android with a western version in tow at some point.

Now the Switch has joined the fray, enlarging the pool of gamers that will be able to enjoy Genshin Impact’s colorful gameplay.

On top of the platform announcement we also get the reveal of a new and beautiful area.

Both announcements come with their own trailers, so you have two to enjoy below.

If you’re interested in Genshin Impact, but it wasn’t on your radar, you can also read a brief official description below.

Introduction

Aeons ago, the elder elemental gods gave civilization to the human race, but the world soon splintered as corruption and greed grew without check. The gods watched from their abode in Celestia and selected the worthy to sit by their side and maintain the balance that holds the world together in one piece.

Magical Universe

The world is divided into culturally unique environs and themes. Delve into the ruins of a blasted empire that went too far in forbidden technologies, scale massive gothic towers of medieval fortresses, savor fine tea from jade pavilions, spar with kenshis in Sakura woods, and let your imaginations go wild in this definitive Universe. The epic backstory and lore will enrich your thirst for more knowledge about this magical universe…

If you want to see more, you can enjoy another trailer from Chinajoy. Recently, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida mentioned MiHoYo as an example of the momentum enjoyed by developers from Asia.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market.
