Larry Hryb, known by Xbox fans as Major Nelson, has revealed the titles Xbox Live players can expect free for the month of July, as long as you have an active Xbox Live membership. Also, this month’s Games with Gold brings two Xbox 360 backwards compatible games to the list.
Here are all the games that will be free for the month of July:
Xbox One
- The Banner Saga 2: Available from July 1-31 on Xbox One
- Tumblestone: Available from July 16-August 15 on Xbox One
Xbox 360
- Rainbow Six Vegas 2: Available from July 1 to July 15
- Tron: Evolution: Available from July 16 to July 31
One of the biggest free games is the Banner Saga 2 which originally released for the PC on April 19 and has been showered with praise and high scores since launch due to its hand-drawn art style and player-driven narrative. The series isn’t over just yet, as developer Stoic mentioned at Pax East, a Banner Saga 3 is in the works, however, no additional details were given.
