Final Fantasy XV, Story, Details, JRPG

It has been six years since the last entry into the Final Fantasy series made its debut, and fans of the series are eagerly awaiting a release date for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. It seems, if reports are correct, that Final Fantasy XV will release sometime in September.

Gamatsu claims to have received word that the game will release worldwide for Xbox One and PS4 on Friday, September 30. Although they are not being very direct with their source, they assure that it is reliable. We know Square Enix have scheduled an event for later this month on the 30th, in which the release date for the game will be officially announced. The event will take place at the Shine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and it will play host to some new gameplay reveals along with a possible release date announcement.

For now, just take it as a rumor. Square Enix have been working on Final Fantasy XV for some time now. The game started as Final Fantasy Versus XIII back on the PlayStation 3, it was then re-revealed as Final Fantasy XV at the 2013 E3 press conference. Right now, any sort of release date report is better than nothing.
