The artwork showcases the two new races included in the expansion, Viera and Hrothgar, which will be respectively exclusively female and male. We also see a lovely image of a dark knight.

Speaking of dark knights, the last artwork showcases a rendition of the unnamed base midlander (which fans often fondly call “derplander”) in Dark Knight gear, taking on the role of the “Warrior of Darkness.”

You can check them all out in the gallery below.

Just a few weeks ago, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida himself also explained why there won’t be male Viera and female Hrothgar, and why the expansion won’t include a healer job. An official benchmark has been released to let you test your rig and check out the new races.
