Today Square Enix and the popular Japanese retail chain Animate announced the Final Fantasy VII Remake Limit Break Fair in Animate.
The event will have two halves. The first will run between December 20, 2019 and February 2, 2020. The second will start on February 3, and end on March 15.
During the period, for every 3,000 yen spent at Animate, fans will receive a random bonus clear card with character art from the game, which you can see below.
Interestingly, the clear cards portrayed above are only for the first part of the event. Could the second part include characters who haven’t been revealed yet? We’ll have to wait and see.
The main Animate store in Ikebukuro will also exhibit a special life-size panel featuring cloud.
How convenient that I’ll be in Tokyo on December 20, and I’ll stay in Ikebukuro…
If you’d like to see and learn more about the game, you can check out the latest gallery of screenshots, a few recent videos, the previous video from a few days before, alongside a few additional assets, a charming TV commercal mixing live-action and a nostalgic feel, the latest trailer, the western box art for the game, plenty more beautiful screrenshots, and recent gameplay with the reveal of the Classic Mode.
The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020. No other platforms have been announced so far.
