Fallout 76 Officially Announced by Bethesda During Twitch Livestream

Fallout 4, Nuka-World, DLC, everything you need to know

Today, during Bethesda’s cryptic Twitch livestream, a brand new entry in the Fallout series was revealed. Fallout 76 is here, and we’re already eager to learn more about it.

Unfortunately, beyond the 90-second teaser trailer and very short press release sent out accompanying the announcement, we know very, very little about Fallout 76 at this time.

The announcement came following a tweet with the familiar “Please Stand By” television card unique to the Fallout series, then a surprise stream featuring a cute Vault Boy puppet in various poses, eventually culminating in the Fallout reveal today.

If you’re jonesing for more information about Fallout 76, we’ll likely have to wait until Bethesda’s E3 2018 showcase, which is scheduled to occur on the Sunday ahead of the show itself. That’s set for Sunday, June 10, so that’s not very far off. Hopefully, we’ll get some additional notes about whether or not the game will be online or a regular single-player title like we’re all hoping for and looking forward to. Though honestly, something a little different wouldn’t be absolutely terrible, especially since the series has been going on for so long.
