Bethesda has just shared the patch notes for its shared world foray into the Fallout universe, Fallout 76. The 1.02 patch notes outline fixes to previously bugged quests, some performance improvements, and general fixes to other issues players had uncovered, and it’s a massive download once again.

The patch notes come via a post over on the official Fallout site. Out of the fixes listed within the patch notes, the most notable one comes in the form of a fix to the ‘Bureau of Tourism’ quest which tasked players with fixing the Prickett’s Fort token dispenser.

Problem was, when players went to go and repair it, they simply couldn’t… and could also walk through it. Bethesda has now resolved the issue so that the quest can be completed and players can pick up their rewards and earn all that sweet experience.

Elsewhere, Fallout 76 receives some fixes to its PvP, including a fix to players respawning with a ‘Hostile’ tag still attached to them. There’s also a fix for players who applied paints to Power Armor during the B.E.T.A. that found these had been removed or weren’t visible when playing in the full game. These paints can now also be correctly applied to additional sets of Power Armor.

There’s a whole lot more to the Fallout 76 1.02 patch notes which you can check out here.

It’s not all great news, however, as the Fallout 76 1.02 patch is quite the hefty update. Currently, the Fallout 76 1.02 patch on PS4 downloading for us weighs in at exactly 47.257 GB, while on Xbox One it’s coming in at 48.39 GB. That’s a meaty patch, so you’ll want to get these downloading as soon as possible.

Those who were playing the B.E.T.A for Fallout 76 likely remember the 50 GB patch that was required in order to continue playing midway through, and the hefty day-one update for Fallout 76 is also fresh in the minds of players, too. Here’s hoping this trend of game-size updates doesn’t continue for much longer.

Fallout 76 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re looking for tips, tricks, and guides to help you during your adventures in Appalachia, be sure to check out our Fallout 76 guide wiki.
