The Epic Games store is on a roll this year, and the trend is continuing with another cult classic, The Stanley Parable, and another Ubisoft title, 2014’s Watch_Dogs.
The Epic Games store really hasn’t been slacking, giving away indie darlings and big AAA titles alike since its launch in December 2018. Recent titles include Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Though this week’s games are still free for another week, The Stanley Parable and Watch_Dogs will be free from March 19 to March 26. In the meantime, you still have time to pick up the three free games this week, Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, A Short Hike, and Mutazione.
For those who are unfamiliar with next week’s games here is Epic’s brief synopsis.
- The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice.
- As Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, turn Chicago into the ultimate weapon in your quest for revenge. But what happens when your personal quest collides with an entire city?
Both Watch_Dogs and The Stanley Parable have a new installment currently in the works. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will expand the original game and bring it to console (with no release date yet), and Watch Dogs: Legion is the next installment of the Watch Dogs franchise, which was recently delayed with no current release date.
The Epic Games store is offering you the chance to get ready for these games’ next installments.
