Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Are Making Their Way to Nintendo Switch

BJ is coming to Nintendo.

In a surprise announcement during their Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that both Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus would be making their way to Nintendo Switch. No firm release dates were given for either game, but Doom will be coming sometime this holiday, while Wolfenstein II won’t arrive until 2018. These two announcements mark two of the biggest third party titles to come to the Nintendo Switch yet.

Wolfenstein II is a sequel to the previous game, Wolfenstein: The New Order, taking place in an alternate reality 1961. The game sees series’ protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz trying to prompt the second American Revolution after Nazi forces have occupied the city. Nintendo also announced the release date for another Bethesda game on Switch today, as Skyrim will hit the system on November 17.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is scheduled for release on October 27 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Doom is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
