Today Square Enix announced a brand new character for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and for its arcade counterpart Dissidia Final Fantasy, and that’s Tifa.
The popular Heroine from Final Fantasy VII will make an appearance in the arcade version with an update coming on June 27.
The home version for PS4 and PC will receive her a little later, on July 13.
Interestingly, the design featured as Tifa’s main costume isn’t the one included in the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but the classic design coming straight from the original game.
Her alternate costume will be the one she wears in the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie. Of course, both costumes will come with color variations, which you can see at the bottom of the post.

Dissidia Final Fantasy originally launched all the way in 2015 in Japanese arcades, but fans had to way until last year to finally get their hands on the “NT” version on PS4.
Square Enix has been actively supporting the title with the release of stages and characters, including the semi-recent launch of Snow Villiers from Final Fantasy XIII and Zenos Yae Galvus from Final Fantasy XIV. Recently, we also got a release on Steam with a free-to-play version.
