Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Gets Lightning’s Third Costume from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Today Square Enix revealed a brand new costume for its fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy and its counterpart on PS4 and PC Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

Today Square Enix revealed a brand new costume for its arcade fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy and its counterpart on PS4 and PC Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

This time around the costume os for Lightning, and it comes straight from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, to be precise it’s the Crescent Moon garb.

We get the classic burgundy color, plus two additional hues, blue and white.

On top of the dress, we also get to see Lightning’s fifth weapon, which is Excalibur, also from Lightning Returns.

Incidentally, this is the second costume revealed in a few days, as we recently saw one for Yuna

Dissidia Final Fantasy originally launched in 2015 in Japanese arcades, but fans had to way until last year to finally get their hands on the “NT” version on PS4.

Square Enix has been actively supporting the title with the release of stages and characters, including the recent addition of Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, the semi-recent launch of Snow Villiers from Final Fantasy XIII and Zenos from Final Fantasy XIV. Recently, we also got a release on Steam with a free-to-play version.
