In a conversation often dominated by controversies, it’s refreshing to see examples of stellar customer service (even if they may be driven by the reward of publicity).
A prospective customer emailed publisher Devolver Digital asking for a discount on Shadow Warrior 2, and their wish was promptly granted:

If you’re not familiar with the game, Shadow Warrior 2 is a bloody, over-the-top FPS that is full of fast-paced action and jokes about the word “wang”. The game released in October 2016 for PC, and arrived on PS4 and Xbox One in May 2017.
We weren’t too fond of Shadow Warrior 2 overall, and it was available in October for free, but 75% off certainly makes the game more appealing. During this special sale today Shadow Warrior 2 was also featured on the front page of the Steam Store, and as you can see in the Tweet below, the game is a “top seller”.

The one hour sale prompted by that one potential customer has ended, but if you’re an Amazon Prime member you get a whole list of Devolver Digital titles for free through January 31. Shadow Warrior 2 isn’t included in the list, but Hotline Miami 1 and 2 are.
Gris, Devolver Digital’s most recent release (and a game we thoroughly enjoyed) is currently available on Steam for full price. Gris is also available for Nintendo Switch. If you’re interested in picking it up, maybe try emailing Devolver? Apparently, you never know what can happen.
