Today via Twitter, DOOM composer Mick Gordon (who also worked on Wolfenstein: The New Order, Killer Instinct and Need for Speed) announced that two other noteworthy musicians will be taking the stage with him during The Game Awards on Thursday night, Dec. 1.

The two guests are Sascha Dikiciyan (composer on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as well as the Mass Effect series) and Matt Halpern (drummer for the metal band Periphery). A few days ago, we learned there would be a live performance of DOOM’s metal-heavy soundtrack at the awards, so this announcement fills in the gaps of who will be accompanying Gordon on stage.
This is set to be the most star-studded year for The Game Awards, with celebrities like Michael Phelps making an appearance to present the Best Esports Player award. Hideo Kojima will also receive the Industry Icon award at the show, making up for last year’s no-show from him at the will of his former employer, Konami.
