The next installment of the Demon Slayer anime is still a ways off, but fans can look forward to some fresh news during the Japanese Machi Asobi event next week.
In a post to the official Demon Slayer website made on Oct. 6, it was revealed that there would be 3 special events tied to the Demon Slayer series during the Machi Asobi Vol. 25 event being held on Oct. 15. The first two events will have some form of information related to the anime, while the final one is a special screening of the Demon Slayer Movie.
The first of the two events with new information is a talk helmed by Natsuki Hanae and Katsuyuki Konishi, the voice actors for Kamado Tanjiro and Uzui Tengen respectively. The talk will dig into the events of the latest season, with both voice actors offering input on what transpired and what will come next for their characters and the wider story.
Directly after this event will be something tied specifically to a new announcement regarding the series. Nothing else is known about what this event will entail though, and no information will be revealed about it until the day of the event.
The announcement marks the first opportunity for new information tied to the series’ next arc since a Swordsmith Village arc teaser trailer was released earlier this year. No firm release date was given for the season at that time, though it was confirmed that the show would once again be streamed through Crunchyroll.
The Demon Slayer anime can currently be streamed in its entirety on Crunchyroll. For more on the series, check out any of the related articles down below. We’ve also got plenty of other content related to anime in general, including lists of the best fights in anime and the best anime senseis.
