Legendary Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is certainly known for his unyielding dedication to his craft, and now he’s very close to finishing his new game, Death Stranding.
Yet, he doesn’t appear to be all that keen on the idea of staying idle.
As a matter of fact, he has his eyes firmly set on the future, as he mentioned on Twitter.
The equivalent Japanese tweet is a bit more precise about the “next project” mentioning “planning and preparation” for it.
Earlier today the prolific developer elaborated further in another tweet in Japanese.
Kojima-san mentions that he does production and promotion until release. He’s deeply involved from beginning to the end of his games, from upstream to downstream.
He adds that he doesn’t remember taking a vacation for more than a week, because there is always a “next” after the end [of a project]. Even when he went independent, he started planning from the next day, and this won’t change even when Death Stranding is over.
Of course, we know nothing about what Hideo Kojima is going to do next. As a matter of fact, we don’t yet know everything about Death Stranding either.
Yet, while we wait, you can check out another image shared below, showing a wide vista and a beautiful sky.
If you want to know more about Death Stranding, you can take a look at the latest trailers from Gamescom, another trailer, the previous one, and its Japanese version with additional footage and a different song.
You can also enjoy another recent gallery of beautiful images, and a second one, more showing the first images in color, another showing how you’re prompted to rest and sleep in the game, one focusing on diverse environments, one showcasing beautiful water and more, and the latest featuring snow and clouds.
Recently, we also saw the official box art for the first time, while Sony is planning to show a whole lot of the game at Tokyo Game Show.
Death Stranding will release exclusively for PS4 on November 8, 2019.
