The Game Awards had quite a few announcements to share tonight, one of which was the announcement of a brand new game from a brand new studio. Phoenix Labs is a new studio made up of some former Bioware devs, and they announced their first game titled Dauntless.
The title is a free-to-play four player co-op game that will be launching in 2017. We don’t know much about the game outside of the announcement trailer, which showed a highly stylized fantasy world. Four characters met up, and each looks like a different combat role, before a giant dark shadow shows up. The characters turn towards it, preparing themselves for battle. Take a look at the announcement trailer down below.
Dauntless is currently set for a 2017 release date. Check back with Twinfinite for more details as they become available.
