We get to see plenty of mecha gameplay and even the body modification feature that allows players to customize characters very heavily in basically every aspect.

Interestingly, Nintendo showcased the first look at co-op multiplayer, that allows players to enjoy mecha battles alongside their friends.

Interestingly, Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda explained at the end of the stream that Marvelous intends to continue to expand and improve the game after release. A new feature that will come down the line is a competitive multiplayer mode.

That being said, he hopes that in the meanwhile players will enjoy the story mode and multiplayer co-op. That being said, competitive multiplayer shouldn’t be “too far out” after release

You can watch the recording of the livestream below, directly from Nintendo. It really looks great and highlights the beautiful design of Macross creator Shoji Kawamori.

If you want to see more of Daemon X Machina, you can check out the gameplay showcased yesterday which was just as spectacular. You can also enjoy the trailer revealed at the Nintendo Direct and plenty of official screenshots from the latest press kit.

Daemon X Machina releases for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2019.
