Fans waiting in anticipation for Cyberpunk 2077 shouldn’t look to E3 to satisfy their CD Projekt Red itch. According to a Q&A following a recent financial report (via Eurogamer) Cyberpunk 2077 will not be at E3 2016.
The report also detailed CD Projekt Red’s plans for upcoming years. In 2016, the studio looks forward to releasing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion Blood and Wine, as well as “a new type of video game format previously unexplored by the Studio.”
After 2016, CD Projekt Red plans to release Cyberpunk 2077 and “another AAA RPG title” yet unknown.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be an open-world, nonlinear game for “mature” players, set in the near future where advanced technology is giving humanity a bit of a hard time. There are few specific details, though the studio did say it will be far bigger than The Witcher 3.
