With the Epic Games Store gathering exclusivity deals on many PC games, some are concerned about the possible inability to purchase their most-anticipated future games on their storefront of choice, and of course, this includes CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077.
While the developer didn’t yet fully commit one way or the other, a soothing word came today from Global Community Lead Marcin Momot.
In response to a fan asking if the game would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, Momot mentioned on Twitter that the goal for CD Projekt RED is to make the game available to as many gamers as possible regardless of their platform of choice.

While we’ll have to see what will happen down the line, this appears – at least for now – to rule out exclusivity deals for the massively-anticipated Cyberpunk RPG.
If you’d like to see more of Cyberpunk 2077, you can check out a recent video talking about the making of the game, the semi-recent gameplay reveal, read about the team’s goals in terms of quality, and about their efforts to build Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t yet have a release date, but we know that it’s coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some time in the future. We recently heard that the game is going to be showcased at E3 2019 in June and that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz joined the team as Design Director.
