Today CD Projekt published its financial results for the third quarter of 2021, and provided more insight on its business and development pipeline.
We hear that, while sales have grown by 38% year-on-year, profit has dropped by 30% due to costs that did not apply last year including the upkeep of Cyberpunk 2077 and higher development costs for new and unannounced games early in development.
We also hear that the next-generation versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are still slated for Q1 and Q2 2022 respectively (following the recent delay)
Last, but not least, the team at work on the “major” expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 has increased in size.
