New Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy DLC Video Will Probably Make You Feel Bad

It's OK, I'm bad at video games too.

A new Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy video was released today via the official Crash YouTube account showcasing Vicarious Vision and Activision’s recently released DLC for the trilogy, titled Stormy Ascent. Featured below, it’ll most likely make you feel like you’re bad at video games.

The level, which prides itself on being absolutely unforgiving due to the amount of platforming skill and precise timing needed to complete it, is shown being breezed through with ease, with Crash reaching the end of the trial in just 2:55:73. Wow.

The video serves a promotional purpose, inviting fans to try and beat the time, screenshot their accomplishment and share it on social media. As to how successful it’ll be – given how grueling the stage is on its own right – remains to be seen. My best bet is that some dude will beat it in less than a minute with a Guitar Hero controller. Just wait and see.

Stormy Ascent can be downloaded on the PlayStation Store for free until August 21st. After that it’ll cost $2.99, so even if you don’t have the game now, add to your cart. Obviously you’ll need to own the base game in order to play it, so don’t get your hopes up.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy released June 30th this year exclusively for the PlayStation 4 to very warm fan and critical reception. In fact, Activision is so pleased with sales results that they may consider similar initiatives in the future.  Fingers crossed for Spyro remasters. At least I can dream, right?
