Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was released earlier this month and went straight to the top of the UK game charts. Despite only being available on the PlayStation 4, it seems gamers are pleased to have the crazy marsupial back as he has managed to stay in the No. 1 position for a second week running, despite fierce competition from the likes of Grand Theft Auto V and Overwatch.
Grand Theft Auto comes in second, very impressive for a game originally released in 2013. Overwatch is in third, FIFA 17 is in fourth, and Micro Machines World Series comes in fifth. The top 20 are as follows:
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Overwatch
- FIFA 17
- Micro Machines World Series
- Battlefield 1
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Rocket League
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Dirt 4
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Lego Worlds
- Forza Horizon 3
- Fallout 4
- Hitman: The Complete First Season
- Tekken 7
- Dishonored 2
- ARMS
- Injustice 2
The Crash Bandicoot remake was announced at E3 2016 and was hotly anticipated by fans who were eager to see the PlayStation mascot return. The game received strong reviews upon release and has clearly been embraced by gamers. This coming week will see the release of several big games including Fable Fortune and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Will Crash be able to remain on top for a third week running?
