Catherine Is Probably Coming to Steam, ESRB Rating Gets Updated for PC

catherine

The rumors about a possible PC port for Catherine started surfacing yesterday, when the Steam news page for Bayonetta got updated with a picture of a sheep, and the single-word title, “Baa.” Bayonetta was published by Sega, which has merged with Atlus, so the sheep photo being a teaser for Catherine didn’t seem like such a stretch.

And now, Catherine’s entry on the ESRB site has been updated as well, and its list of platforms has been updated to include PC. The ESRB rating is still M of course, for the mature content in the game involving Vincent’s risque adventures with his girlfriend and possible mistress, along with the adult nature of the story.

Atlus and Sega have yet to formally announce a PC port for the game, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as more info comes our way.

Catherine: Full Body was announced late last year, and it’s essentially a remaster of the PS3 and Xbox 360 title which brings about a new character named Rin, along with a new soundtrack and additional story content. The game doesn’t have a western release date just yet, but is slated to launch in 2019 for consoles, and hopefully PC as well.
