Catherine: Full Body

Today Atlus had quite a few surprises in store for Catherine Fans, and the latest just appeared on the Japanese PlayStation Store with a demo of Catherine Full Body.

The demo is available for download now, and you can grab it for PS4 and for PS Vita.

The demo includes the first two days of Catherine: Full Body, enjoying the introduction of the story and the evolved puzzle elements.

Of course, you need a Japanese account to download and install the demo, but on PS4 you can then play it on any account after installing as long as the console is set as primary.

Below you can check a batch of screenshots from both demos, giving you a glimpse of the difference in visuals between them.

PS4

PS Vita

Of course, there is also a sizable difference in size between the two demos, with the PS4 version weighing 3.95 GB, while the PS Vita version will require a 1.42 GB download.

Do keep in mind that this may be the only time you get to play Catherine: Full Body on PS Vita (unless you import it) because we learned today that the west will get only the PS4 version (to the surprise of no one ever).

If you want to see more of the game, you can check out a new batch of screenshots released yesterday on Famitsua video showcasing the soundtrack and one featuring competitive multiplayer.

We were waiting for a “special Catherine: Full Body announcement” coming at noon Japan time today. While it’s only 11:00 AM now, it’s likely that this is it. I’ll keep my eyes open just in case, but I wouldn’t expect anything else of note for now.

Catherine: Full Body is set to release on Feb. 14 in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita, while the western release for PS4 is said to be coming “soon after” that.

If you’d rather play on PC, Atlus USA released Catherine Classic on Steam today, but it doesn’t include the new content that will come with Full Body.
