Capcom to Celebrate 30 Years of Street Fighter With New Anniversary Collection

The fight lives on.

It’s been 30 years since the first Street Fighter made its debut in arcades, setting the scene for a few dozen fights and a ton of memorable characters. To mark that debut, Capcom are all set to release a fully featured anniversary collection, bringing together 12 games from the fighting game franchise.

Set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection bundles together arcade based ports of the original Street Fighter along with its many sequels; Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

If that isn’t enough, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike will all be updated to support online versus play, with lobbies supporting up to four players and being given their own assigned leaderboards. An in-game museum will also provide plenty of history, art, and playable music tracks if you get tired of beating people up.

The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is set for release next May in both physical and digital forms.
