The free trial begins later this week on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 10 am PT and ends five days later on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 10 am PT. All three modes are playable, but with varying limits. The campaign’s first two missions are available, while competitive multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland have a level cap of 15 and three, respectively.

According to the game trial’s official FAQ, PlayStation Plus is necessary to play multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland, while an Xbox Live Gold membership is required to access all three game modes on Xbox One, including the two campaign missions.

All progress made during the free play trial will carry over if the full game is purchased and, if bought digitally, does not need to be downloaded again which makes the trial around 60 GB to download. There is no access to Modern Warfare Remastered during the trial.

Activision expected Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare sales to be less successful over last year’s previous title, Black Ops III. According to a GFK Chart-Track report, physical launch sales of Infinite Warfare in the UK were down almost 50% in November.
