Infinity Ward has introduced a new update for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – live right now – which adds new leaderboards, among a number of other changes.
Patch 1.08 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it weighs in at approximately 2GB – though depending on platform the size may vary.
As you can see from the official patch notes, the update adds the Call of Duty League Personalization Pack, Mission Team Ranks, and a slew of fixes for various bugs. There are general fixes, such as “an issue where players can respawn looking like Infected after suicide.”
Call of Duty World League and Codcaster have had some changes made as well. Multiple casters are now allowed in the same lobby; the issue of team colours not properly appearing has been fixed; and now the number of required players for CWL matches has been removed.
This patch is a timely one: Infinite Warfare has its first expansion, named Sabotage, due out on Jan. 31 for PS4. It’s going to bring with it new maps for multiplayer and new content for Zombies – featuring filmmaker Kevin Smith.
