Today Treyarch revealed the first artwork of the upcoming Call of Duty game which is now officially titled Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
The artwork comes after the reveal of an interesting clip yesterday, and it teases the same reveal date on August 26.
It also pitches imagery representing the United States versus the Soviet Union, as you would doubtlessly expect from the Cold War theme.
You can see the original post below.
We already know that the reveal will officially be made within Warzone in Verdansk, which is certainly something rather difficult compared to the usual PR.
We also know that the game will have a single-player campaign on top of multiplayer, and will integrate with Warzone itself, which is not surprising considering how popular the battle royale spin-off is.
The executives at Activision had teased this method of revealing the game quite explicitly during the latest financial conference call, mentioning that Warzone is a great platform to share new franchise news and information directly with the community as they’ve never done before.
