Best Buy has announced that between September 8 – October 7, they are holding special weekend events to showcase Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before its release on December 7. All events will be held between 10 different Best Buy locations in major metropolitan areas across the U.S. Best Buy provided a brief overview of the event and what fans can expect if they are able to attend.
“Here is your chance to play this highly anticipated game from Nintendo before it launches on Friday, December 7. Choose one of the many new characters or play as one of your favorite returning characters. Early access gameplay and prizes will be available only at select Best Buy locations. You could be one of the first to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch.”
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the culmination of the Smash Bros. franchise, featuring every character and stage from its almost 20 year run. Not long ago, the highly requested Castlevania franchise was given its due with Simon and Richter from Castlevania and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood respectively, joining the fight. Smash Bros. Ultimate will be an incredibly packed entry, with over 100 stages in the package, each with their own different variations, providing endless options to choose from.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on December 7, 2018 on Nintendo Switch.
