Video game file sizes are just getting larger and larger —there’s no doubt about that. Downloading a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 with its whopping 105 GB file size could take up a giant chunk of your system’s storage.
Luckily, Battlefield V’s file size doesn’t compare to the behemoth that is Red Dead Redemption 2, and hopefully you won’t have to delete too much off of your hard drive in order to fit it on.
Thanks to the Microsoft Store website, we now know exactly how much free space we’re going to need in order to download the Xbox One version of Battlefield V. The file size for Battlefield V’s standard edition is 31.89 GB. The deluxe edition of the game comes in at an insignificantly larger 31.9 GB.
For that extra 10 MB of space that you have to give up for the Deluxe edition, in return you get access to a few different goodies: early access to the Battlefield V base game, five sets of paratrooper outfits, special assignments and 20 weekly items with airlift.
Keep in mind that although the game itself is only 31.89 GB or so, this doesn’t include information for a potential day one patch, and there’s always a chance that you’ll need to free up a bit more space.
Battlefield V launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One Nov. 20.
