Today Square Enix announced a day-one patch for its upcoming action-platformer Balan Wonderworld.
The update was introduced via a message from producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto, and stems from feedback provided in response to the demo.
Below you can read a few details.
“There’s been a wide range of opinions and responses to the demo, and unfortunately at the current stage of development, it simply isn’t feasible to reflect every piece of feedback into the game. However, to offer you all a more balanced gameplay experience, we will be implementing a day one patch for the full game.
Specifically, this patch will adjust movement controls, camera movement, and rebalancing of the difficulty. There’s just over a week left until launch now, so I hope you all enjoy the world of Wonderworld to your heart’s content!”
On top of this, Square Enix published the score sheet for the game’s theme “Hurray!!” by Ryo Yamazaki, alongside a piano arrangement by marasy8. You can also find the full video below with a medley from the game.
Balan Wonderworld is coming to basically every platform with a chip and a screen (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC) on March 26, 2021.
