Bandai Namco has announced today via Twitter that Bakugo, of My Hero Academia fame, is coming to Jumpforce via the Character Pass in the not too distant future.
Bakugo is the latest anime warrior to join the ever-growing ranks of the playable fighters in Jump Force. The Shonen fighter featured 40 characters drawn from 16 different series in the base game, with a roadmap for nine more to arrive later via the games Character Pass.
This is the first time we have seen Bakugo in-engine, but back in April, data miners were able to uncover the full list of upcoming fighters, and Bandai Namco has confirmed that list.
We know that the following characters are coming sometime in the future:
- Majin Buu (Dragon Ball Z)
- Madara Uchiha (NARUTO)
- Trafalgar D. Water Law (ONE PIECE)
- Hitsugaya Toshiro (BLEACH)
- Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (BLEACH)
So far, Seto Kaiba, All Might and Biscuit Kreuger have been added to the game, and they even got their own awesome trailer to celebrate their inclusion.
No firm date has been provided for Bakugo, but Bandai Namco did release some awesome screenshots so be sure to check those out below.
