Another Awesome Games Done Quick has come and gone, with this one blowing all the other Games Done Quick events out of the water when it comes to donations. The previous record for most money raised in a single event was $1,576,085, and this year’s GDQ raised a total of $2,213,397 (on stream) for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Raising over $10 million across all GDQ's and over $2 million in this GDQ alone is crazy. Thank you again! #AGDQ2017 pic.twitter.com/wztQ3k8SL3

In the best way possible, the goal of $2 million was hit right before the last run of the event, which featured TGH running Undertale on the true pacifist route. He had originally completed his run with a time of one hour, 28 seconds and 27 seconds, then took on and spared Sans after the run due to a bidding incentive. When all the final totals of GDQ events are combined, they have raised over $10 million for charity and that total is still going up as of this article.
With a total of $2,213,397 raised (and still counting!) we thank everyone for all of your support! #AGDQ2017
