Persona 5 has been out in Japan for a few months now, and it was just released in the west two weeks ago. With the massive success of the highly anticipated JRPG, it makes sense that Atlus would want to release more games and content for the IP, just as they did with Persona 4. As a hint of what’s to come, it looks like Atlus has registered several web domains for the series, including:
P3D and P5D look like they could be dancing rhythm games for Persona 3 and Persona 5 respectively, while P5U is most likely yet another fighting game in the style of Arena and Ultimax. The more curious ones are P5Ag and P5R. We haven’t seen those acronyms used for any of the previously released spin-offs, so it’s difficult to guess what they might be. It certainly would be nice if one of those was a Persona 5 Vita or Switch port, though. Lastly, PQ2 looks like it might be sequel to Persona Q on the 3DS, perhaps with the inclusion of the cast from the new game this time around.
Persona 5 is now available on the PS4 and PS3.
