Ark: Survival Evolved is releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The question that is starting to crop up more and more with game releases at the moment: will it make its way to the Nintendo Switch?
In the game’s official forums, a developer was asked, “Will you put Ark on the Switch.” To which a developer replied, “We don’t have any current plans for the Nintendo Switch, though I will be closely watching how that console does in its launch.”
It’s interesting to see that Studio Wildcard, the game’s developer, isn’t ruling anything out – and that, as has been the case elsewhere, eyes will remain on Nintendo’s new hardware to scope out its potential and see if more games can make the leap.
At the moment, Ark: Survival Evolved isn’t yet finished; there are in-development versions of the game which are available to play on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s full release is currently scheduled for later this year, with no specific release date set.
