Animal Crossing: New Leaf is Getting Cute Hello Kitty amiibo Cards in Japan

Isabelle, meet Hello Kitty.

Nintendo and Sanrio are collaborating to bring new Hello Kitty amiibo card packs to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. With the new cards, you’ll be able to obtain Hello Kitty-branded clothing and furniture in your very own town. Unfortunately, you can’t actually have the cat itself in the game. You can check out the new trailer down below.

So far, the confirmed Hello Kitty characters for the card packs include: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kero Kero Keroppi, Cinnamoroll, Pom Pom Purin, and Little Twin Stars. The new amiibo cards will go on sale in Japan on November 3, and will be sold for 300yen each. It doesn’t look like these cards will be released in English-speaking territories, but you could always import them if you’re a fan of collecting cute cards. And Hello Kitty.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is now available on the Nintendo 3DS. So, are you planning on importing these amiibo cards if they don’t make it stateside? Feel free to let us know in the comments down below.
