Today, during the Inside Xbox X019 livestream, Age of Empires IV got a spiffy new trailer showing off gameplay footage and graphics.
Age of Empires IV was first announced two years ago and we learn that it will take place in the medieval times, pitting walled villages against trebuchets and catapults.
Two civilizations were announced to be playable in the game, being the Mongols and the English, with even more being teased.
Check out the trailer below:
The trailer comes along with the reveal of World’s Edge game studio, a dedicated team working on the Age of Empires franchise.
This wasn’t the only reveal for the series today, however; Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition launches today on Xbox Games Pass and PC.
The Definitive Edition comes loaded with enhanced graphics and an all-new expansion, The Last Khan, to hold you over until we get more information about the franchise’s next title.
