Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Shines in Tons of New Gameplay

Today Bandai Namco showcased a metric ton of gameplay of the upcoming new chapter of the Ace Combat series Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

We get to see quite a lot of campaign gameplay, a bit of multiplayer, and even a VR mission. On top of that, we also take a first look at the replay mode, which appears to be quite similar to Assault Horizon. That’s not a bad thing, considering that replays were probably the only good thing in the game.

I don’t know about you, but my body is really ready to go back to Strangereal.

You can check it out below and get lost in the sky. If you want to see more videos, you can also enjoy today’s trailer showcasing the Gripen E, yesterday’s starring the F-22 Raptor, another video showing off the Mig-29A Fulcrum, one more with the F-14D Super Tomcat, and one focusing on the A-10C Thunderbolt II.

Older videos showcase the Mig-31 Foxhound, the F/A-18F Super Hornet, the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the F-15C Eagle.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will launch in Japan for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 17, 2019. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Jan. 18. A PC version will follow on Feb. 1.
