Blizzard has released an update with a number of changes to five heroes to Overwatch’s Public Test Realm (PTR).
Blizzard’s Geoff Goodman shared the news with fans via a post over on the official Overwatch forums. He notes that while some of the listed changes are new as of the latest update to Overwatch’s PTR, other have been around for a little bit longer.
Fans of the newly-released Doomfist will be saddened by the news that the hero’s Rocket Punch has seen its total travel distance has been reduced by about 20% since he first went live. Goodman notes this is one of the changes that has been live for quite some time.
There is good news for Doomfist fans, though. His Seismic Slam now has a much-improved UI indicator for working how much damage it’ll deal to a target. This does also, however, come with the news that the Seismic Slam’s targeting area has now been restricted to only locations below Doomfist’s current height.
Elsewhere, McCree’s Flashbang now slows targets when they’re stunned, Reinhardt’s hammer swing speed has been increased by 10% and is now more responsive, and Zarya’s Graviton Surge now disables movement abilities of affect targets, allowing you to finish them off with a little more ease. You can check out the full list of changes to heroes currently live in the Overwatch PTR here.
