It’ll Take 4-6 Months for Fallout 76 Customers to Get Those Canvas Bag Replacements

For the few that were genuinely excited for the release of Bethesda’s Fallout 76 were promised a high-quality canvas bag that was to be included in the Power Armor Edition of the game. When this special edition of the game was sent out to giddy fans, they were more than slightly disappointed when the package did not include a fancy West Tek Canvas carrying bag, but instead, contained a cheaply-made nylon bag.

This entire situation got even worse when people found out that those nice canvas bags did indeed exist, but were only given out to influencers at a preview event for the game, for free. Since this entire debacle, Bethesda has since allowed people to, thankfully, submit a replacement form in order to request the canvas and get it shipped to your place of residence.

As long as you fill out the form before Jan 31, 2019, you would receive the canvas bag as soon as they would be ready.

Bethesda has started to respond to people who requested the canvas bag replacements via email and are stating that the bags won’t be ready for at least four months. Here’s the entire email that was received by Reddit user, Beanjameen:

Sitting around for almost half a year for these bags that were originally supposed to be part of the special edition sounds like quite the wait, but Bethesda is offering anyone 500 complementary ATOMs to use in Fallout 76 for those eligible for a new bag, which equates to around $5 in real cash.

Fallout 76 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
