Zenyatta’s Christmas Skin for the Overwatch Winter Event

From monk to soldier.

Overwatch’s Winter Holiday event is finally upon us, and it’s time to reap all the gifts that we can during these couple of weeks. That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Time for you to rush through the matches, winning as many as possible, just to unlock some sweet Winter Event Loot Boxes. You can also buy them, of course, but they’ll take you quite a bit of coins.

One of the new skins added in this update is the Nutcracker for Zenyatta. It’s a very charming-looking skin, and dresses Zenyatta up as the classic character from the Nutcracker Christmas story. Zenyatta sports the Nutcracker’s iconic wooden face, complete with his hat and the whole soldier outfit as well. Considering Zenyatta hasn’t really gotten any good skins from the past two themed events in Overwatch, this one should keep the support mains out there happy enough.

Do note that the Nutcracker is a legendary skin, so if you want to purchase it straight, it’ll cost you 3,000 gold. You can also purchase multiple Loot Boxes and hope for the best, or just continuously farm Loot Boxes by playing the Arcade playlists and leveling up.

Zenyatta is just one of the 12 heroes that got new skins, though. Check them all out in-depth over here. It’s also not just skins that came with the event; there’s a new brawl, emotes, victory poses, highlight intros, and more! The next few weeks are sure to be packed with some festive fun on Overwatch.
