When you start Link’s Awakening, you might’ve been wondering how the heck do you pick up those heavy rocks that seem to be blocking all of the paths. Well, in order to pick up anything heavy like that, you’re going to need a specific item, the Power Bracelet.

The Power Bracelet is a mysterious bracelet that surges with power and is automatically equipped when you find it, making it unnecessary to add it to the X and Y item slots.

To get the Power Bracelet, you’re going to have to first complete the Tail Cave Dungeon and then make your way to the Bottle Grotto Dungeon in the Goponga Swamp with BowWow in tow.

You’ll eventually find the power bracelet organically in a chest in the dungeon. Once you find it, you’ll then be able to pick up rocks, stones, pots, and some other things.

To sum things up, to pick up rocks:

  1. Once you gain access to the second dungeon, Bottle Grotto, you’ll find the power bracelet in a chest.

  2. To use the power bracelet, you simply go up to the item you want to lift and press the A button.

You don’t need to have it equipped to use it.

And that’s everything you need to know about how to pick up rocks in Link’s Awakening. For more on the game, do be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide and our scored review. We’ve also listed some other helpful guides on the game down below.
