XCOM 2 is the direct sequel to the hit turn-based strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Players will take on the role of a Commander that has control over a battlefield of soldiers as well as a base of operations. Lives will be lost as soldiers have a perma-death mechanic and there is the ever-looming threat of the aliens that have taken over Earth.
