To add and change your credit card on Xbox Series X and Series S, you’ll need to access a specific portion of the settings menu; specifically, the Payment and Billing tab.

To get there, you’ll first need to open up the main menu. This is the menu you’re taken to when booting up the console or when you press the Xbox button. From there, scroll over to the Settings tab, select it, and then scroll down to the Account option.

Choose this tab, and you’ll then be given some more tabs to select related to your Xbox account. Payment and Billing will be one such option. Select it, and you’ll then see all of your currently added credit cards and the option to add a new payment method if you have an existing Xbox account.

If you’re setting up an account from scratch, then the option to add a new payment method will be all that you see.

From there, you can add in the info for whichever credit card you want to link to your account and set it up so that said card can be either the account charged for purchases or just an account on file.
