Wolfenstein Youngblood is out now and it changes the formula up slightly, seeing the series move towards an open-world structure with a co-op campaign. Since all the wacky weapons and upgrades remain, though, here’s everything you need to know about if there is new game plus in Wolfenstein Youngblood.
As you progress through the missions in 1980s Paris, you’ll get access to the classic ‘Kraftwerk’ weapons that we’ve seen a lot in the Wolfenstein series and a lot of upgrades that make the standard weapons more powerful against tough enemies.
It would be great, therefore, to take everything you’ve unlocked and use it in a new run of the campaign missions. After all, there’s a new weapon that crops up near the end of the game that is a lot of fun.
Whether There Is New Game Plus in Wolfenstein Youngblood
Unfortunately, there is no new game plus option.
Once you’ve completed the final story mission, you’ll be taken back to the Catacombs and you’ll be able to explore the city as you like, completing any side-missions you didn’t get around to and finding any collectibles you missed.
It’s almost as if the end of the game never happened. It’s very similar to how post-game works in many other open-world titles – it simply gives you a chance to tidy up what’s left to see.
You get to keep everything you unlocked up to that point and continue to unlock things, you just can’t replay the game from the start, new game plus style.
Of course, if Bethesda or Machine Games ever add the feature to Wolfenstein Youngblood as part of a future update, we’ll be sure to let you know here.
