Wolfenstein Youngblood: How to Upgrade Weapons

how to upgrade weapons

Wolfenstein Youngblood is the hotly anticipated spin-off that puts players in control of a protagonist that isn’t the iconic B.J Blazkowicz for the very first time. It’s a cool new direction for the story, but in terms of gameplay, players can expect to find familiar systems and mechanics. Here’s how to upgrade weapons.

How to Upgrade Weapons in Wolfenstein Youngblood

Just as in the previous three Wolfenstein games, weapons can be upgraded and modified throughout the playthrough. Although this time things are a little more nuanced than before.

Upgrades are bought with silver coins that you’ll find from various different sources: killing enemies, looting them from around the game world, or by opening specific chests.

They aren’t a rare commodity, and you should find plentiful supply as you make your way through the story.

To actually apply upgrades, simply press the touchpad (or Xbox One equivalent), scroll along to weapons tab, and then select which weapon you want to upgrade.

Upgrades include things like the receiver, optics, magazine size, grip, skin, muzzle, stock, etc. Precisely what you’ll be able to modify depends on the weapon you’ve chosen to upgrade. Some have more than others.

That should be everything you need to know about how to upgrade weapons in Wolfenstein Youngblood. Twinfinite has plenty more guides on the game if you’re looking for help elsewhere.
