Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Endings Guide

There are three endings to Blood and Wine in total which correspond to a good, neutral (kinda bad), and bad (really bad) ending. We’ll help give you a step-by-step walkthrough on how to get each one, which can be quite involved.

Good Ending – Both Sisters are Alive

For each of the endings your first step begins in the Night of the Long Fangs, and who you choose to pursue. Then there’ll be a number of choices you need to make as you progress to the end. Here’s the choices you need for the good enging.

  • Choose to pursue Syanna in Night of the Long Fangs.
  • Important: Make sure you read all of the journal entries in the playroom at Beauclair Palace.
  • Get the ribbon from the Little Flint Girl during Beyond Hill and Dale. You can do this by paying her for it, or winning a game of Gwent.
  • During the Pomp and Strange Circumstance quest talk to Syanna first, before you start the ceremony. You’ll need to convince the guard to let you speak with her. There are three correct dialogue choices you need to pick, as follows. 1. “cause she turned her back on you” 2. “ever thought to forgive her?” 3. “might ask her that”
  • Now go and talk to Damien and tell him the truth, then tell the duchess about her sister, Syanna.
  • Henrietta will ask Geralt’s opinion on the matter, so choose to say that Syanna is guilty, then say that they were both children when it happened.
  • Now you’ll get the “Good” ending and both sisters will survive.

Neutral Ending – Syanna Dies

This ending starts very much the same way as the good ending, but the key difference is to make sure you don’t get the ribbon from the Little Flint Girl.

  • Choose to pursue Syanna in Night of the Long Fangs.
  • Do not get the ribbon from the Little Flint Girl in Beyond Hill and Dale.
  • That’s it. Detlaff will kill Syanna and Geralt will be imprisoned, then subsequently saved by Dandelion.

Bad Ending – Both Sisters Are Dead

As you might expect, his ending pretty much depends on you doing the exact opposite of the good ending and it culminates in the tragic deaths of both sisters.

  • Choose to pursue the Unseen Elder in Night of the Long Fangs, instead of Syanna.
  • Do not talk to Syanna before starting the ceremony in Pomp and Strange Circumstance.
  • This will result in Syanna being brought to trial, where she’ll kill Henrietta. Damien will then kill Syanna, resulting in pretty much the worst outcome possible.

That does it for our Witcher 3 Blood and Wind endings guide. If you need any other help while playing through, make sure to check out our Witcher 3 Blood and Wine guide wiki. Here are a few examples of guides you might need.
