The first thing to be said is that there isn’t any direct, guaranteed spawn for presents during the Birthday Event. Your best chances are definitely to search named locations, however. You’ll want to aim for those at the end of whatever jump line you’ve got, as a new event means people will be eager to get to the earlier named locations.

Presents are a Legendary rarity item, but that doesn’t affect its spawn rate. The first present we found was near the ring of cake in Logjam Junction. Each present found is just one, seeing as the challenge requires you to throw five total, this will probably take you five matches to complete.

With the present in hand, you can aim and throw it wherever you want. You’ll see an outline.

When thrown, it will land as a big present. They usually build up larger than this, for some reason, ours kept clipping halfway into the ground. You will have to break into the now large present with your harvesting tool to get the goodies inside. These presents hold a myriad of weapons and healing items and make for a perfect item to find right after landing, if possible.

This is all the information needed to know where to find and throw presents in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. With this done, be sure to check out the other Birthday Event challenges.
