Xur arrives in Destiny 2 every Friday to tempt Guardians with his wares. He will sell a randomly rotating pool of Exotics and some other goodies. Xur can be an extremely valuable resource for players, and even the most veteran Guardians will check his inventory weekly in the hope of finding a god-rolled item for their favorite class.
What Is Xur’s location?
Xur arrives on Friday and disappears on Tuesday, and each week he will appear in a random place within the game. Players can either spend the time to track him down or take advantage of folks like us who go out of our way to find him as quickly as possible.
This week you can find Xur at The Tower Hangar, near the old Dead Orbit area.

Who is Xur?
Xur, also known as the Agent of the Nine, is a very mysterious figure within the world of Destiny 2. The Nine are a highly mysterious group that is thought to be somehow associated with the planets in the Sol System, but very little is known about them. Previously Xur would only deal in a rare currency known as Strange Coins but has changed his focus over the years to the more readily available Glimmer and Legendary Shards that players deal with on a daily basis.
In the lore, the first time Xur appeared was after the Great Ahamkara Hunt, and it was assumed that he and the Nine have some connection to the Ahamkara. He has also occasionally been caught up in some of the dramatic happenings of the tower, once suffering a terrible spinal injury at the hands of a Guardian who thought he was involved in the disappearance of Sjur Eido. The back injury is what resulted in his somewhat painful-looking stance.
