What is Fade’s Nationality in Valorant?

Fade is from Turkey and, specifically, from the country’s largest city, Istanbul. As such, you’ll hear many Turkish voice lines while either playing as or with Fade in a game of Valorant.

If you were tuned into the build-up to Fade’s launch last month, then you are likely to have noticed a bunch of clues as to her nationality, many of which we went over in our dedicated article. Those included clues such as the inclusion of Turkish coffee and Turkish Delight in the various artwork showcased in teaser trailers and articles. Not to mention, images of her hands put a spotlight on Henna tattoo, an Arabic tradition that strongly suggested Fade would come from that region.

For those familiar with the Valorant scene in general, you might be aware that the game is exceptionally popular in Turkey. That perhaps explains why Riot Games was keen to include an Agent from the country, quite apart from the fact that it has, in general, tried to keep the roster as diverse as possible with Agents from all around the globe.

That’s everything there is to know about where Fade is from in Valorant and her nationality. We’ve just updated our recent article ranking all of Valorant’s Agents into tiers, so why not check out where Fade ranks, in our opinion?
